Glaziers were first established in the early 1930’s, from a yard and a lock-up in Manchester. Over the years the company has seen many changes in the removal industry. We do not remove coal on the back-end of the vans anymore, the old tea-chests have been replaced by cartons, and window tackle for removing Grandma’s piano via the window has been discarded. Now we deal with plasma televisions, American fridge/freezers, computers and of course, expensive furnishings. However, what has not changed is Glaziers commitment to providing good service for our customers, and after 70 years of trading, we still offer the same personal touch, which is quite a rarity in this day and age. We are members of The National Guild of Removers and Storers and are ombudsman approved. We are also members of The British Association of Removers, who are officer of fair trading approved. Our vehicles have altered over the years. They are now seen regularly around the City of Manchester and on the motorways in their striking maroon livery. All our vehicles are fully equipped with soft woollen blankets, trucks, piano trucks and most importantly, our own fully qualified staff who take great pride in their vehicles and the job they do.
