therefore can recommend them if you require one.

Packing Services
We can provide all types of packaging for house removals at
a small cost as we buy in bulk. These include boxes, bags, bubble
wrap, shrink wrap and marker pens. We would be pleased to drop them
at your home FREE of charge. Please contact our team to
arrange this. Please note we supply a limited amount
of packaging FREE of charge as televisions, mirrors etc
are specially bubble wrapped. All your furniture is securely
covered in our special furniture blankets FREE of
charge and strapped down safely before our vehicle pulls away.
We also use specially designed trolleys to move all your appliances
and heavy items. Our vehicles come with hydraulic tail lifts
preventing any damages to your belongings.
Important Things to Remember
- Owner packed boxes or bags, please do not overfill as this
may cause damage to items inside or to the people removing
them
- Keep all important documents with you, passport, driving
licence, bank statements personal letters. Also retain keys, remote
controls and fitments i.e. screws etc to any dismantled
furniture
- Washing machines and electrical appliances should be
disconnected prior to our arrival as grimshaws are not liable for
any leaks, pipe damage etc
- grimshaws are not qualified or insured to tamper with gas
appliances. These also should be disconnected by a professional
prior to our arrival.
- Dismantle any flat packed furniture prior to our arrival
(unless arranged differently)
- we cannot transport any pets in the removal truck. Please make
arrangements for this prior to our arrival.
- Please remove any wall mounted televisions and disconnect all
electrical items
- take final meter readings
