For Cadogan Tate’s customers the first step towards a well-managed move is to call in one of our professional Move Planners to discuss their requirements. Of course they know that when it comes to moving home, we handle everything with care: that we’ll safely pack and move their most valued possessions, from the state-of-the-art sound system to antique furniture and glass, from fragile china to that worn but well-loved teddy bear. But, just as importantly, they know we’ll also deal with all the small but vital details that make their move unique.
Planning the perfect move
In fact, Cadogan Tate’s individual Move Plans cover everything, including specialist crate-making for chandeliers and sculptures, parking permits for vans, temperature-controlled storage for wine, and an external hoist to take that baby grand up to the seventh floor apartment. We’ll organise the crew, trucks, materials and equipment, and make sure that all the elements of the move - packing, storage, specialist cleaning, transport and installation - dovetail together perfectly, and to schedule.

On moving day, all this forward planning pays dividends. The crew arrives on time, fully briefed, and begin packing swiftly and with consummate skill. You’ll also find them professional, helpful and polite. (Cadogan Tate operates the BAR - approved training centre for the moving industry in London).

Items for storage are inventoried and packed on site before being taken to one of our own temperature controlled, secure warehouses. There, whether in security-sealed containers or private storage rooms, everything is protected by 24 hour CCTV, rugged physical security and the most up to date, fully monitored fire and intruder alarm systems. Naturally, customers can have access to their possessions at any time, upon request.
The fine art of moving in
At the new home, the crew places cartons and furniture in the correct rooms and positions them to order. If our customer has selected our Full Unpacking Service, the team will unpack and arrange everything as planned or directed.
